Don't take your dog for granted

Took our Caesar to Grant, not expecting much. We’ve taken him to another trainer before and it helped, but didn’t help so much with his reactivity to other dogs, kids, etc. After his boarding and training program with Grant, he has improved so much. Grant taught not only Caesar, but myself the owner on how to properly train our dog, and reap the most benefits from his boarding and training. We used to not be able to take Caesar out in public due to his excessive barking and pulling from anything that moved. Now, he’s at the point to where we feel comfortable taking him to walk around our neighborhood and public spaces. If you are looking for a dog trainer, Grant is your guy!

Brought my dog to Grant after being at a loss for what I could do for her. She would go crazy anytime she was on a leash and no training we did at home stuck with her. Two weeks with Grant and she is a brand new dog! She is receptive to correction, listens the first time she’s given a command for the most part, and walks beautifully on a leash. We are so thankful for his help, and his willingness to maintain training with refresher sessions after the boarding session is complete. If you’re worried about leaving your dog for a few weeks, trust me it’ll be worth it. Grant sends regular update videos and we could tell our dog was very comfortable around him.

We brought our sweet Nala to Grant in desperate need of help with leash training and reactivity. Thankfully, he had room in his schedule and welcomed us with professionalism and care. In just two weeks, Nala transformed from pulling us in every direction to walking calmly by our side, constantly checking in to stay on course. The results exceeded our expectations, especially in such a short time. Thanks to Grant’s expertise, we can finally enjoy our walks. His training is not only effective but also easy to maintain at home. We highly recommend Grant for his generosity, skill, and dedication to both dogs and their owners!

Great experience, great results! We adopted a stray that was found in Savannah after the hurricanes last year. She was super sweet but had not been trained at all. She chewed on her leash when we tried to walk her, she stole anything paper and ripped it to shreds and chewed on everything. . .shoes, bottles, blankets and even the couch! A friend suggested I contact Grant for help. He called me back pretty quickly, listened to our concerns, and immediately said he could help! We took Waffles to meet him and she was very comfortable with him. They way he interacted with her put us at ease about leaving her for a board and train session. While she was there, Grant sent pictures and videos showing us what they were working on and the progress she was making. When we picked her up, he gave us some training on how to work with her, to ensure she stayed in practice with all of her newly learned commands. Since she has been back home, she has done so much better at listening, walking politely (without chewing the leash!) and playing with her toys instead of our shoes! Not only did Grant care for our doggo while she was in training, but he has also texted to check up on her even after we brought her home, to make sure everything was going well! We definitely recommend Grant, and the training was well worth the investment!

My first Google review ever. We have a busy house and the introduction of a newborn puppy we rescued after Hurricane Debby was pushing it. As much as we wanted it to work, we were failing everywhere, she was rampant and we were getting desperate. All of us were stressing out and we were wondering if keeping her made sense anymore... so we began looking and found Grant, discussed our situation and what we needed and decided to move forward. He regularly sent us photos and videos of her progress while in his care, had us out for an afternoon to practice her new skills she'd been learning during her training, and just yesterday he brought her home to reintroduce her to our family and we practiced those skills again. We're now comfortable practicing with our dog ourselves, and she is doing amazingly. There is already so much more of a level of understanding between us all and I feel like we're all communicating a lot better. If you are in a situation like we were, give Grant a try.
