We took our 9‑month‑old GWG, Rudy, to Aaron for an evaluation, and we were very pleased with the time he spent assessing Rudy’s abilities. We enrolled him in the foundation training program, and throughout the process Aaron kept me well‑informed—especially helpful since my previous experience was with training labs, not pointing breeds. Aaron invited us out several times to observe and participate in Rudy’s sessions. Each visit left me more impressed with his approach. He uses minimal verbal instruction and instead allows the dogs to work through their instincts, which really helps them develop naturally and confidently. I truly appreciated this style of training. Since Rudy graduated from foundation training in September, we’ve been hunting almost every weekend, and he improves with every trip. I plan to reconnect with Aaron soon to continue Rudy’s development and move into the next level of pointing‑breed training. Rudy is already pointing instinctively, and with a bit more guidance, I know he’ll advance even further. From a high‑level perspective, I would trust Aaron with any dog. His ability to bring out a dog’s natural instincts and help them excel is exceptional. I’ll continue to stay in touch with him and recommend him highly.

Aaron at Double A Gun Dogs trained my 9 month old GSP in his foundations class this past August. Within the 2 month class I was updated weekly on my dog’s performance and his future training. Aaron even invited me out a few times to train with my dog and to even give me training tips on how to handle my dog in the field. Bullet finished training just before season and has been doing great. Would highly recommend Aaron for your dogs training.
