Holistic Dog Training and Owner Education. Our owner and lead trainer holds a degree in veterinarian medicine with a specialization in ethology (U.N.A.M.), which is the study of animal behavior. We have over 25+ years of experience working thousands of dogs, big and small! We train pets, service, and protection dogs. Our method, no matter the purpose of the training, begins with channeling your dog's natural instincts to build an unbreakable bond. From there you can teach a dog to do just about anything and do it with heart and soul!

Yvan is so in tune with each and everyone of my dogs he’s helped me train. From the obedience to the bitework aspect. No one else I would train with for French Ring or suit sport. Every session we had together was extremely personalized and you feel apart of the the DRDT family right away ❤️
Yvon comes at training from a great perspective, not only is he passionate about training he is capable of relating specifically to the individual and his dog. He’s able to understand the animals unique character and then translate that into a training program suited to your dog.
10/10 would recommend. Kimberlee and Yvan are so kind and knowledgeable, Our 5 month old Belgium Malinois has learned so much already in just 2 visits and loves them! Can’t wait to keep learning with Down Right Dog training!!

Finding the right dog trainer is like finding a needle in a haystack. There are a lot of people who call themselves dog trainer's. They all tend to follow cookie-cutter way of teaching. At Down Right Dog training, it's not a business it's a passion. They make your dogs training into a game . Your dog is playing and doesn't know he is getting trained. They work with all size and all different breeds of dogs. Yvan Granados is not only the highest ranked Decoy he is also a veterinarian. No other trainer have the years of experience and the knowledge that he has. He trains every dog based on that dog's needs ( no cookie cutter training). We have been going to Down Right Dog training for almost 1 year. My Belgian Malinois Roky is working on French Ring sport . We (Roky and me )train with Yvan 2x week. Thanks to Yvan Granados' training, Roky has been able to overcome some issues such as dog reactivity , fear of decoy stick, and full bite suite. Roky looks forward to his training sessions.
