Duck Dog Trainer

I only gave 5 stars because 6 or 7 stars was not an option. We purchased our dog from duckdogtrainer and got to keep him until he was suitable age for training. Naturally we fell in love with him (named him Kiro) and really enjoyed our time with Kiro. Soon enough we brought Kiro back to duckdogtrainer for official duck dog training. We were invited to come visit Kiro often, and see his progress as well as keep our bond with Kiro... long story short we have Kiro back, he is 11 months old now and what a stud! He does everything and more they promised he would be after training. Can't wait to get him out hunting but have confidence Kiro will preform great and enjoy duck hunting as much as me. Duckdogtrainer is first class and great facilities... highly, highly recommend!

I met Brian through a local ad he had posted for training duck dogs. i dropped my pup off to him in mid june. He was starting with a clean slate the dog had zero exposure to hunting or birds. by mid September (teal season) i picked max up and started hunting. At this point he was performing at what id call beyond basic and easily got every bird we shot down through out the season. i was beyond ecstatic about the level my dog was performing at. After the season i sent Max back to Brian to complete advanced training. After he was finished there wasn't anything he couldn't retrieve. 100yd blind retrieves and taking hand signals were second nature to him. I strongly recommend Brian Johnson and will trust him with my next dog
