The Ducktown Lodge family recently took care of our 1.5 year old Patsy, an english cream retriever. Patsy doesn't like leaving home and tends to shut down emotionally when she needs out of home care, but she did GREAT here. I appreciated the daily updates and video, which helped to put my mind at ease. When she got home, she was immediately her goofy self, which tells me her visit was as stress--free for her as possible. I highly recommend Ducktown Lodge!

We really appreciate the pictures and videos while we are away!!! Even though Ducktown Lodge is a long drive (and in the exact opposite direction from the airport) we are more than willing to make the drive because we know our pups will be loved and cares for just like at home!

Boy, I really don’t want to leave an excellent review because the Lodge will get harder to get reservations for, but our old dog Charlie absolutely loved his first stay at Ducktown! We were concerned that he would be too anxious because he recently lost his life long best pal Buster to old age, but Lucinda and family made his vacation away from home very easy.
The facilities are impeccable, drop off and pick up were seamless, and we were kept up to date on Charlie’s days with routine pictures and social media highlights. I highly recommend Ducktown Lodge!

Felt like family taking care of my pup. They sent videos and he was smiling and wagging his tail in every one. I love how clean and warm the facility is and that they have real grass for the dogs to play on.

Sent my two dogs (3 years old and 1 year old) to the board and train program with Sara, and we are so happy with the results! I can tell that everyone at Ducktown Lodge treated my dogs with love during their stay, just like we do at home. We never boarded our dogs before, so I was a little nervous that they would be scared but they did great! After this training program I feel like I have all the tools to have very well behaved dogs both at home and out in public. I wish we had done this sooner!
