We sent our 10 month old Labrador retriever puppy, Tucker, to Ducktown Lodge for a board and train while on vacation, and it changed our lives! The team did a great job providing photos and updates during his stay. Before, we struggled with basic obedience and giving him freedom in the home. Since training, Tucker has done amazing! We’ve been able to give him freedom in the home, walks around the neighborhood have gotten easier, and we’ve been able to bring him along for family outings. Sara’s training is very concise and highly effective. Our debrief session was extremely informative and helped set us up for success. We’ve been taking advantage of the weekly classes post training. These have been great to reinforce what we’ve all learned and work through any new challenges. We’re so grateful for the Ducktown team and would highly them for boarding and training!

Lucinda and her daughter Sara were wonderful with my dog Bentley. They treated him like family and always sent me videos and pictures of him while he was boarded. I will definitely use them on our next trip that we need to board our boy!

We did a trial run last weekend and so happy to have found a place that has a capacity of only 12 dogs! Such a refreshing experience not having a bunch of dogs barking and running around in a million directions. This place as to the contrary! The cleanliness of both the indoor and outdoor facility was the first impression I had upon arrival. When touring the indoor space, not a single dog seemed stressed or even barked! I was asked to talk softly so as to not upset the other dogs. I love the care they take in ensuring all pups are happy and comfortable! I will be back and highly recommend!

I am very excited about Ducktown Lodge. We traveled over an hour to board here because of their ability to customize their boarding schedules for each dog. My dogs had a great time staying here. The runs were clean. The outdoor area was clean. Everything was set up for individualized treatment for each guest (dog). They do not nickel and dime you for extra activities or special/specific treatment. Breed was not a problem (I boarded all bullies.).We will use them again.

We just had a fantastic experience in using Ducktownlodge! We’ve never used a “kennel” before but I knew if we were to ever try it, it would be with Lucinda, Jeff and Sara. We loved the daily videos and updates of Lucy which gave us such peace seeing her chasing balls, being loved on and looking so happy. The accommodations are amazing and she came home smelling sooo good! This is more a retreat for your furry family member!
