Ducktown Lodge & Dog Training

I can not say enough about Ducktown Lodge! We had to go out of town unexpectedly and had to find a place to board our cattle dog, Ben. He does not take to strangers very well, so needless to say we were nervous. This kennel is brand new and I literally found it by mistake. Lucinda was very accommodating and was able to meet with us right away. The kennels are roomy and are separated from each other by walls. It is very clean, does not smell and music is played while the dogs sleep. Also, there are only 12 kennels which, in my opinion, is great for anxious pets. The outside area is large and well fenced. I liked that each dog gets their own time in the play area and also that leashes are not used to bring the pets in and out. Sara, who takes care of the pets and does training as well, took to Ben right away, (or rather he took to her), which is amazing since he is very fearful and does not like anyone. Ben was naturally afraid when we dropped him off but my fears were laid to rest when Sara sent a video that evening of Ben in the play area. HE EVEN LET HER PET HIM!!! Absolutely amazing boarding facility. I will most definitely use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing to board a precious member of their family.

Ducktown Lodge, LLC took amazing care of my Great Dane. He received attention and care above and beyond my expectations. I received regular updates, so I knew my baby was in great hands. I cannot recommend this dog boarding facility enough!! The facility was clean and the space for the dogs refreshing and open, which gave my big baby plenty of room to run and feel at home. I will be using Ducktown Lodge again for all my dog boarding needs!!

I recently had the pleasure of leaving my Rottweiler at Ducktown lodge for four weeks, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care they provided. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the facility. The crew was incredibly welcoming and took the time to get to know my dog and understand her needs and routine. Throughout the four weeks, I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind knowing that my dog was happy and well cared for. The facility provided plenty of playtime, socialization with other dogs, and even some special treats that my dog absolutely loved. The team at Duckworth Lodge was attentive, professional, and truly seemed to care about each and every dog in their care. It was clear that they go above and beyond to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for the dogs. When I picked up my dog, she was happy, healthy, and seemed to have bonded with the staff. I am incredibly grateful for the excellent care provided by Duckworth Lodge and would highly recommend them to any pet owner looking for a trustworthy and caring boarding facility. This is a wonderful facility with all new runs and amenities for your pup. This is a family owned, boutique experience with no more than 11 other dogs there at a time. The owner is an experienced dog breeder and has trainers on staff with over 5 years of experience. Never once did I question that my dog would be in great hands. They let him out 6-7 times a day so he came home nice and tired and I didn’t have to immediately take him for a walk after a stressful day of traveling. Highly recommend Ducktown Lodge for your boarding needs.
