Duffy's Dog Training Center

Boosie(3 year old pit bull) did a full program at Duffy’s around 6-7 months old. He was not food driven, completely refused treats) and I wasn’t sure how to go about actually training him. I take him back for regular day school visits/refreshers. He loves going to school. The staff there is amazing. This is not a program where they do all the training. They engage you in the training as well. Teach you how to handle your dog and address concerns as they come up during their program duration. I even scheduled a one on one lesson once my neice was old enough to help figure out how to acclimate everyone to one another. I can take him on off leash walks and get compliments constantly about his manners, rapport and his tolerance/patience with other dogs is incredible. Duffy’s was able to help me give Boosie the home, love, attention, and instructions we all needed to thrive harmoniously.

We are very impressed with Duffy‘s. The instructors all follow the same effective training procedures and are very nice, caring, professional and attentive to the dogs and their owners. Our first visit was an interview session with Christian. He was so informative and interacted very well with our puppy and us (my husband, 2 daughters and me)! We left feeling assured that they were going to be able to help us address the puppy issues we were having. One week later, we’ve noticed a very positive change in our 4 month old golden retriever who did the 7 day manners and remote collar program. The 3 private sessions are so helpful. They are hands on sessions that teach the owners how to continue the training at home. You are also provided with a training book, which was written by the accomplished Matthew Duffy. Not only were we pleased with our experience, but we also talked to many other happy customers we passed entering or exiting the center. Another positive sign for us that we had chosen the right place was when we saw how excited our puppy was every time we entered the center, and it was apparent that the other dogs seemed happy to be there as well. We highly recommend Duffy‘s Training Center!

If this is your first dog, go with an open mind and this place with blow yours… also this review is not for you, go, please, learn, YouTube has nothing on this place. This review is for people, like me, that thought they knew how to train a dog. I’ve had several, but, I had one that challenged me, and I wisely decided to swallow my pride and ask for help. Look. This dog will be in your life for a decade plus. My relationship with my dog has been exponentially better after this experience. Greg, thank you for an enlightening experience. Thank you!
