On a recommendation from a friend, I wrote them almost 5 years ago after the loss of my beloved Riley (also a chocolate). I was looking for an "older dog" and a happy misunderstanding and I was making my way up to Sutter to see a 13w old chocolate labrador I would come to pick up the following week. After a few months, I opted to have him trained too. He came home with all the basic skills and well done. Regular updates and a couple of photos here and there as well. A great walk through covering all of the skill. His obedience is still pretty good and any failure is on me :) Kimo's been an absolutely wonderful pup. He will turn 5 in July, he's been a retrieving machine! I wasn't looking for a pup but I am grateful for the pointer, grateful for the relationship with the Dustin family over the years and more importantly, grateful for such a great dog.
