Thank you Carla for helping me out with Jax! Carla helped me get the confidence I needed to train my sometimes stubborn GSD. Within 8 training sessions - we've seen a transformation in our dog's obedience. It is also great that you can watch others train so you can understand how you can also get better. I'm so glad I chose to go Carla's instead of boarding my Jax - dog training has a lot to do with also getting the owner trained!!

I brought my 2 year old German Shepherd / Dutch Shepherd mix Loki to Dutch East Dogs Training Center for basic obedience and got so much more than we expected. Carla is an amazing trainer. She taught us how to truly learn together and communicate as a team. Loki is more focused, obedient, and confident, and we have gained a wonderful group of friends in class. You can tell Carla has decades of experience and genuinely cares about every dog and owner. If you want real results and a supportive community, Dutch East is the place. Highly, highly recommend!

I've had a few of my dogs train with Carla over the years for obedience and her training has helped with a variety of issues I've dealt with within my pack. Her formula for obedience works, but you have to put the work in at home too! I'm looking forward to trial for my first title with my promising athletic german shepherd, with hopefully more trials to come in our future. Carla is funny, honest, and the company of weekend training groups is full of great people and a lot of laughs. Carla is welcoming to those who want to come observe training sessions.
