Once we charge the battery, now long before it will need to be recharged?
Hi Katherine,
Of course this number will vary by usage, but I usually tell people to expect between 24 and 48 hours between charges. You might also notice that the collar/receiver discharges faster than the remote. This is due to it getting the brunt of the work.

I think many people believe that e-collars are shock collars. They are not. They are more like a TENS unit, providing a stimulation that can be adjusted to a level that is just enough to communicate with your dog. My dogs love their e-collars because they know they’re going outside to run around and have fun. If they see a squirrel and start to run out into the street, I can safely call them back with a quick tap that works every time, guaranteed. They stay safe and we are all happy. I have even been able to prevent them from going after a skunk! E-collars are wonderful tools when used properly. They should absolutely NOT be banned.

I have had excellent results with the E-Collar company! Ed was particularly helpful walking me through getting the right unit and then when I had difficulties figuring out how to like do the boost setting and coordinating the finger control with The Boss, etc. It sure cut down my learning time. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested and definitely talk to Ed!!

I was plugging in my e-collar and suddenly took a moment to think about how long i’ve had it for. Almost 6 years. She isn’t pretty white anymore, she’s cracked, has tape on a piece I lost, but not once in all these years have I had any issues. I have the duo and both collars still work amazing, are in great shape, and still hold charges for a long time! I am quite impressed by the longevity and dependability of this product! 10/10 highly recommend!
