I have a rescue Shih Tzu/Pekiness that is 2 years old. I have had him 4 months and he is an aggressive frightened dog. He bit me twice this week and no one can interact with him but me. What would you suggest and your price range. Thank you

Then step 2 was group training (puppy basics) with 5 other dogs. Super helpful too. Caarrl has made big progress and so have we. 😃
Next step is “beyond the basics” which we just signed up for.
I highly recommend East Bay and I highly recommend starting early and continuing.

PLEASE READ- I went to east bay dog spot back in 2020 to get my golden doodle puppy Bailey trained. I met with Kip Kirby (founder I believe), and immediately could tell the connection she had with animals. We did a 4-6week (I believe) private training course and boy did we see the effects. My husband and I recently got a new puppy and ALL I can think about is how absolutely AMAZING the training was for our now 5 year old golden doodle pup. Unfortunately we have moved from our hometown (gulf breeze) and now live in California. As I was looking for a new trainer for our new German shepherd mix puppy, I couldn’t stop thinking about Kip and how I wish we still lived there to go back and get our new puppy trained! Bailey is so well-mannered, listens so intently, and always responds when called. I am forever grateful for my experience with east bay dog spot and just HAD to recommend even after 5 YEARS!! This is an investment that absolutely will be worth it!

I can’t thank Makayla enough for her patience, kindness, and knowledge. When looking for a place to get Marty trained, I based it totally off of reviews. I got what I hoped for and much more. Makayla goes above and beyond to really ensure that you are understanding the training completely as well as with your pup. Marty is a rescue and needed training to calm his nerves and mentality. He went in a nervous boy and came out a proper man. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. Nearing the end of our sessions, he was so excited to go back and show what he had learned. I’m extremely grateful for trainers like Makayla who are genuine and want the best for you and your dog. 12/10 would recommend

We chose East Bay to learn some new Force Free Training techniques. We took Basics and Beyond Basics and graduated with a basketful of new ideas to train our young Cavalier! We'll be back for Tricks and AdvancedObedience after our dog matures and polishes what we learned. Great Experience!
