Candice, you and Sergio were an absolute joy to work with, and I’m so glad our paths crossed! Otto is an incredible dog and one that will definitely keep y’all on your toes. 🤣😁 The first time I met Otto, I knew what emotions and feelings yall were dealing with on a daily basis. My initial impression was that he was explosive, out of control, and, to put it bluntly, rude. But that impression lasted all of about 30 seconds. It didn’t take long to see what was really there. Beneath all of that was an incredibly intelligent dog who simply needed leadership, clear boundaries, productive outlets through play, and a way for his owners to communicate with him in a language he understood. I truly believe we accomplished all of that and more. There is no doubt in my mind that y’all have an incredibly bright future together. That said, Otto is a brilliant dog, and brilliant dogs have a way of testing the people they love from time to time. That’s completely normal, and it’s exactly why I’m always here if you need me. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful, heartfelt review. It genuinely put a big smile on my face. I take a lot of pride in knowing this training didn’t just improve Otto’s behavior, but helped strengthen the relationship between all of you and hopefully prevented years of frustration that could have easily gone in the wrong direction. Sara, it was so nice working with yall and I know Lexi truly enjoyed it too! From the start, yall seemed like the perfect match especially with having common ground since you’ve both worked in the veterinary settings, giving yall the shared understanding and passion of animal care. It was cool seeing that come out in yall individually during his program. We truly appreciate taking the time to write a sincere and meaningful review for us! Lexi did a fantastic job with Timber, especially with building confidence, play and of course obedience. Whether it was daily tug sessions, freedom walks, or going to the horse farm, that boy was living his best life! I’m not taking away from how well Lexi did but it was also cool to see the progress you guys have made together as a team, following his program. From the most recent update you shared, I can see how well the training has transferred and how much more meaningful the relationship is and that’s what it’s all about! Your family and your dog will always hold a special place in my heart! Apache was definitely on a track, that in the long run would have been a disaster. I thoroughly enjoy working with Malinois, I think just because I enjoy their ridiculous intelligence and persistent craziness. Apache was no different. It is so cool to hear you guys asking questions about how to tweak things or advance in different areas since he has returned home from his training program. That gives me so much peace for a dog like him, because he lives with a family that loves him but also understands what he needs. Yall have a bright future ahead. There is no doubt about it!
