Eastern Florida Dog Training

Brandon offers free 1 hour phone consultations. We had recently re-homed a 2 yr.old mini longhair dachshund, he came with perfect manners. We didn’t know what we didn’t know, & basically let him make our home his space. He was a fun, playful little guy until family came to visit. He barked & bit our daughter! The next day, Brandon was available for the free consultation, he’s a pro! A good listener, he honed in and explained the situation. With clear language, we got directions that he termed a hard reset. It wasn’t easy, but got results, plus saved our kids visit. Our dog is calm; ready for ongoing training to be the pet we want. We look forward to the 3 hr in home session we’ve scheduled with him. He’s not only extremely knowledgeable, but a very kind man.

This is a long overdue review of Brandon and Eastern Florida Dog Training. I adopted Clyde this past October after his adorable face reached out to me on a Facebook post. After only a couple of weeks of having him, I realized that I may have made a mistake of adopting such a young dog at this stage of my life. He was a handful! I had to potty train him (he was used to pee pads) and he struggled with pooing or peeing while on a leash. I realized that he needed to be crated after going to work one morning and witnessing him jumping on the kitchen counter and attempting to get out of the window. Crating Clyde wasn’t much better – I had to trick him every morning to get him into his crate and would then have to witness his distress while being crated on my camera. It was truly upsetting. Clyde would not listen and would grab anything and everything around the house to chew on. I began to question my sanity and the thought of contacting the rescue group that I adopted Clyde from even crossed my mind. But I had already fallen in love with him and was determined to see this through. Thank God that I found Brandon! Clyde was taken under his wing for a six week board and train and came back as a totally different dog. He obeys commands, he enters his crate willingly, he plays only with his toys, and he is just such a better overall dog. I watched all of this play out on videos that Brandon would share while in his care and I was amazed at the transformation! Brandon is a kind, thoughtful and dedicated dog trainer who I highly recommend. If you have a dog that needs training - don't hesitate! He is your guy!

Brandon is the best dog trainer you'll ever work with. He not only deeply understands dog psychology, but he sincerely and genuinely cares about your pet. When you meet and chat with Brandon, it's immediately clear that this profession is exactly what he was meant to do. He's passionate about both the work itself and the “why” behind it. His energy is so calm and reassuring- within five minutes of working with our dog, he had her performing commands we had been struggling to consistently achieve for over six months. Watching the transformation happen so quickly was incredible. We are continuing private lessons with him, and are also seriously considering the "Board and Train" option that Eastern Florida Dog Training offers (at first, this sort of program sounded daunting/intense, but after watching him with our dog, we could not be more comfortable and confident about it). I highly, highly recommend Brandon and Eastern Florida Dog Training, they are 100% the best and absolutely worth the wait!
