EENT Dog Training It is a familiar story. Boone was a 26 pound, 14 week old Aussie pup when he came home with us. How hard can it be? It took a couple days to realize that we did not remember much that our dog trainer taught us thirty or so years ago. This tiny Texas Tornado Australian Shepherd pup was making it real clear we were out of our depth. After a few days of trying to find someone who trains puppies, we found EENT Dog Training in Kerrville. I found the EENT Dog Training website to be very informative and easy to use. Leslie is a great communicator, as her verbal and written instructions are concise, precise and clear and very informative. We signed up for the PuppySpeak classes for his introduction into training. Leslie really seems to enjoy both dogs and people. It is obvious she has fun with her work. She is an excellent trainer for both dogs and their humans. She is a voracious consumer of information about dogs. She knows foods, collars, harnesses, training techniques and so much more. Having worked for many years with dogs in animal shelters, she encountered many varieties of dogs and many types of behavioral issues. She is quite the student of the canine mind. It seems as if our puppy and Leslie communicate telepathically. From day one, Boone was in love with Leslie and was so excited when she walked through our door. We took six lessons from Leslie in our home to help us be able to understand what our Aussie puppy was communicating to us and what messages we were sending to him. She uses a very fun and positive approach to training, and provides in-depth, written coursework with references to allow further study following the in-home lessons. On one occasion, we took Boone to the Kerrville River Trail with Leslie. The objective was to get Boone familiar with bicycles, runners, walkers, other dogs and deer…and yes, squirrels! What fun! Boone learned so much and so did we. I highly recommend using Leslie to help you better understand and train your dog. I know Boone and his humans will consult with Leslie for further obedience training

My dog and I desperately needed some basic training. My son found Lesley (EENT) from a Google search and we set up training for the Foundation 1 classes. Lesley came to our house for the training sessions and that worked great for us!! My dog and I both loved her.! She is super friendly and nice and knows her stuff. She is always well prepared for each class and we even had a field trip to the river trail for our last session! My dog and I now have activities for training that helps us both get along better. I highly recommend Lesley at EENT!
