We absolutely love Sit Means Sit Midsouth! Our story is definitely a “before” and “after” situation! Our goldendoodle was out of control and had no outlet for all of the energy she had! The “Before” looked like running away from us, unable to walk on a leash, uncontrollable in public, jumping on people and running out the door as soon as it was opened. We then found Sit Means Sit Midsouth through a family member who saw his jeep at a Saturday training session at Snowden . Each day of training we would receive a video update on Tilly’s progress. Each video he would describe what they were working on and where he would like to see her improve. We loved that he allowed Tilly into his home and she became apart of the family during the two weeks. The “After” now looks like coming when called, walking on the leash with no pulling, calm in public, doesn’t jump on people and automatically sits when my hand goes on the doorknob to let her outside. I highly recommend Alan to anyone who is looking for a dog trainer. He has exceeded our expectations and we are so grateful for him and his family!

Alan is amazing!!! Before training, we identified specific goals and areas off improvement to work on for my dog. I received daily updates and videos of his progress during his two week stay, leaving me feeling at ease that my baby was in good hands. Alan treated my dog like he was a part of his family, that was made even more apparent watching them interact together in person. My dog was returned to me a totally different dog! - Visibly more confident, locked in and focused on his commands and tasks. Highly recommend Alan, can not say enough good things about him and what he does!!!

I have a 9 month old German Sheppard Husky mix that I needed help with training. I has been referred to Alan with Sit Means Sit by a friend and let me tell you it was the best decision I could have made for my boy and I. I received daily updates and videos so I could see how he was doing and I could tell that my Charlie was happy and being well cared for. His tail was wagging, you could see he was very in tune with his training. Alan was great at explaining what he was doing and why so I could understand what my dog was being asked to do and the reason behind it. The positive changes in Charlie are amazing and I couldn't be happier! I would absolutely recommend Alan and Sit Means Sit to everyone!

We found Alan about a year ago for our sweet boy moki. He was struggling with aggression and just general behavior/manner issues. We sent moki to him for a 2 week board and train and I was of course worried about my baby being gone, but Alan is so Great with keeping contact the whole time and sending video and picture updates! Moki is now able to walk on a Leash in public, sit, lay, and place wherever we are. To this day we still take moki to Alan for boarding and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Highly recommend Alan!
