Do you guys train dogs to become service dog for people with pet and other mental disorders?
Although we do offer training programs for those with health challenges, we are not a certified service dog trainer. Medical providers can typically provide you the best information on resources for service animals.

Do you have age limits for boarding puppies? Thanks.
Hello! We just require that they’re at the age to have received all of their vaccinations required for boarding. We require proof of current DHLPP (Distemper Combination), Bordetella (common name: "Kennel Cough") and Rabies vaccinations. Once the puppy has received this series of shots, we’re happy to board them!

Thanks for asking! Though we do not provide psychiatric training we have performed obedience training for many dogs which “gears them up” for more advanced training like that. If you find a business that will provide that more advanced training, we would be happy to work with them and you to provide the initial obedience training for your dog’s individual needs.

Do NOT bring your dog here. This place was recommended to me and I went out on a limb and brought my dog here. I brought a 40 lb bag of dog food which he usually finishes in 3 weeks when I picked him up over a third was left and I could feel his spine and ribs. They said he knew all of the commands on the list but he didnt. When we picked him up at the end of the 3 weeks he was not the same dog. He was fearful and I could tell positive reinforcement was not used. The gentleman who brought him out to us corrected him on his leash so hard his front paws came off the ground and he yelped so loud which told me he was trained on fear and pain not positive reinforcement like they promised. It took us months to undue the fear he experienced. He's now dog aggressive and leash reactive so bad we cant bring him around other dogs or people. None of these behaviors were present before we brought him there. Its a shame you trust a place with your family member to improve basic obedience and they come back a complete different animal.

Elite Dogs is truly our favorite boarding facility. The entire team is polite and professional. I always know that my dog is in great care. We have even done the board and training and Courtney is so kind and patient when we had a million questions. If you are ever thinking about Training this is the place to send your fury friend!
