Brandon at Elite K9 Training did such a great job with our Kira! Ever since we adopted her, she’s been a very happy and energetic pup who just needed some professional guidance with her training. She came home just as happy and energetic but with the ability to follow commands when prompted. Over the 2 weeks, Brandon made sure to send us updates every single day with a summary of what they worked on. He also sent pictures and videos demonstrating her in action! By the first few days, we were pleasantly surprised at how well Kira was doing. She was already walking off leash and following her come, sit, down and place commands. The biggest surprise was her calmness on walks with other dogs around. She’s always been overly excited when she sees another pup so we knew she was in great hands when we saw her keeping her cool around another pup. We can’t thank Brandon enough for his patience, training and care for Kira. He had her while the Verona fire was going on, which personally had us a bit worried. But sure enough, Brandon made it clear that their home and Kira were safe from the fire and made sure to keep her training mainly indoor while the air quality was poor. He truly does care about the pets he trains. If you’re looking for training that comes with love, care and a ton of patience, Elite K9 Training is a safe bet. I had a very impulsive pitbull, a little hard headed too, I am very pleased with the top training my boy received! He came home a different dog. We feel so much more at ease taking him out in public! Communication was always 100% so we got to see his progression on a daily basis! With the training we got, our 3 year old boy is the dog we wanted! Thank you so much for your services! Brandon was the best trainer ever! I've put my pup into training previously, but more so the weekly training sessions with a local trainer. I was planning to travel over the holidays and wanted her to really lock in and do the bootcamp situation that Brandon offers as his board and train. From the start, he was very communicative and professional. He explained everything, from the e-collar, to what their day to day would look like if I chose to board n train with him, etc. I live in San Diego, so one of the perks of this training was Brandon offering shuttling service for my dog to and from his home, which was amazing (the drive was probably at least 1.5 hours each way). He worked around me with my schedule and was super kind throughout. I felt comfortable dealing with Brandon, but a cherry on top was getting to meet his lovely wife Jenna who also came along to pick up and drop off my pup. Between Brandon and Jenna, they both made me feel confident that they would be able to train and take care of my dog and i would be satisfied at the end of the training. My biggest concern with sending Presley off to a board n train was that I didn't want her to lose her cute personality, and Brandon ensured me that she would be the same sweet lover girl, just without the selective hearing she had developed. While Brandon had Presley, my pup, he communicated with me through whatsapp since I was out of the country which was very kind. He send me daily updates with videos, photos, and what their focuses of the day were. I had no doubt that my little babe was being taken care of with the upmost respect. Needless to say, once I got my girl back, I was ecstatic. When they came to drop off Presley in my hometown, we had a couple hour training session that helped train me in how to successfully adapt to his style of training with the E-collar. I will say, the collar is SUPER helpful, but she also is better in general even without the collar. She overall just behaves better, has better manners, and just lets me feel like she won't be as much of a bother to others in general since she can actually reel herself in. My dog also is extremely sensitive so Brandon was kind enough to get an attachment for the collar that tones down the stimulation. I felt okay with the collar because it's not a shock collar, it just has a stimulation that is used to stim their muscles. That was nice of him to show me on my own palm from the collar that it's not painful like other collars that use shock and I didn't feel like I was hurting my dog. That was another thing that I didn't necessarily want to have the trainer do-- I wanted to encourage positive reinforcements not hitting or anything cruel-- which Brandon full-heartedly agreed with and ensured that that was not his form of training either. Another note is because my dog is sensitive, the original band for the collar was a bit irritating to her skin. I contacted Brandon about it and he was kind enough to send me a different type of bungee collar as well as extra parts for the collar to make it comfortable for Presley. Seriously elite service, even almost two months after the training ended. If I ever have any questions about certain things with Presley in regards to training, Brandon made sure I understood I had access to him and he has helped me tweak some things on my end of training that are straightforward and super helpful. Overall, this experience was a 11/10 and I will be recommending him to all future friends and family who are looking to go through a training like this for their dog. My girl just turned one but behaves politely like an older, well-mannered dog usually is like and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience from top to bottom! Thank you soooo much Brandon!!
