Elite Professional Dog Training

We sent our naughty but cute 15 month old black lab, Lincoln, to the 4 week obedience training boot camp over the holidays. He had major issues with jumping, walking on the leash, not dropping things he shouldn’t have, running away, and human food hunting. We went to the initial consultation wanting the train and play program where he would come home each night and on the weekends. With 3 small kids at home, we quickly understood at the consult that training would take much longer because of the distractions he would have at home during the training period that would cause regression, so we opted for the boot camp. While it was a loooonnnng 4 weeks without him, he came back a different dog in the best way! Laurent and Mike from Elite Pro Dog Training did an AMAZING job with him and he had so much fun making friends with other dogs there. They sent us weekly progress reports with videos, took him to different parks and restaurants to socialize him, brought us to the facility to learn the commands before he came home, then they brought him home and spent an hour with us walking around the neighborhood and running through the commands at home. They come back again on Wednesday to work with the kids. We’ve been doing twice daily walks, focusing on enforcing the commands at home and he’s been doing awesome. He is still a puppy, so he definitely tries to see what he can get away with, but he now listens when corrected, which is the most important part! We plan to board him here when we go out of town and occasionally bring him to daycare to hang out with his buddies. This was an amazing experience and we’re so happy we did it!

We recently sent our two year-old dog to the six week training program. So sad to part with our fur baby for six weeks, but boy was it worth it. Our dog received the best training and we are now able to walk him and enjoy time with him and it has made his life so much more active and enjoyable for us. The staff here is very attentive, professional , always available, and Laurent walked us through the entire process of what the training entailed. I would definitely recommend them as they truly care for the dogs, as if they were their own!!!

We had an awesome experience with Elite Pro Training and especially with our trainer, Laurent. We started working with him when our puppy was just four months old to build a solid foundation in obedience and bonding. Laurent focused heavily on being fair to the dog and helped us unlearn some of our own authoritative habits that were not serving us or our puppy well. The biggest takeaway from our time with him was learning how to build a strong bond of trust so that our dog wants to obey, rather than obeying out of fear or pressure. That bond has made all the difference. I take my dog out in public often and constantly get comments about his great temperament. I always tell people it came from the training at Elite and from the hard work we put in together. A lot of people assume dogs are just born that way, but our German Shepherd was and still is very headstrong and independent. Laurent helped guide him into being gentle and kind with others, which is especially important since he is a large dog and can look intimidating. I am incredibly grateful for the skills, understanding, and confidence Laurent gave both us and our dog. I highly recommend Elite Pro Training.

Laurent, Mike and the team over at Elite Professional Dog Training did a wonderful job working with our 2 year old black lab, Mochi. They are very thorough, explain their procedures fully, and answer questions thoughtfully and completely.
