Do you take dogs in and keep them there for an extended time and train them, or does it have to be with the owner coming back and forth for training?
No it's dog & owner training.

It is not a drop your dog off to be trained, as it is just as important for the owner to be trained as well. They do not board animals, but they do offer daycare and grooming services.

We just did hour or so long classes. I think they have boarding but I don't believe it's the "send your dog for a month" thing. Check their website and they were responsive to questions through that.

We took our dog for a behaviorist consultation and it was great. Heather spent lots of time asking questions and giving great tips/advice. Our dogs really liked her and I was encouraged by the follow-up email outlining the training plan and other resources. I was instructed to email back with any questions or if we couldn’t find a follow-up slot on the schedule, she would make sure to get us in.
I have emailed three times over the course of a month and called the facility to see why I’m not getting a response but haven’t heard a thing. I’m disappointed I paid $150 for an initial session, only to be ignored after that, because I had heard so many great things about this place.

I lived in the Eau Claire area some years back and I needed some help and training with my boxer Tyson and I walked into emBARK not knowing a thing about what to do and I’m so thankful for what I learned from the coaches there, Tyson is not with us anymore but I have a nice Boston terrier named Suzie and I used the same training with her as Tyson and I always get praise about how well behaved my dogs always are, thank you so much emBARK for all your help.. 🙂

emBark is an amazing place to learn how to work with your puppy! The trainers are great and willing to tackle any issues. I will definitely be looking for more classes to attend!!
