As a CEO of a nonprofit organization that helps working dogs across the country, I have met many K9 trainers in my career. Armin and Tazzie Winkler are among the best in the WORLD! They have trained puppies to adults in almost every discipline from sport to first responders to top tier military groups. They have also worked my new Doberman pup and helped us improve our fundamentals and obedience. I would recommend them to anyone that is interested in gaining a better understanding of their dog’s training needs and help bring their pup to its fullest potential! They are hands down two of the best and most knowledgeable trainers I’ve had the pleasure of working with in this K9 world.

I met Tazzie when we hosted her on my Podcast, The K9 Detection Collaborative, and I KNEW that I had to train with her. Tazzie is a trainer that I will keep going back to. She has a phenomenal grasp of dog training, and is a great communicator AND listener. Tazzie understands the theory and how to put it in practice. She is kind and supportive and really understands dogs. I have high drive working line dogs and trainers who understand how to tap into their potential are few and far between... Tazzie KNOWS my kind of dog. I can't wait to book my next session!

My goal in the beginning was to be able to take my dog into public anywhere. I got that and so much more. People stop me and ask if I’m a dog trainer all the time because my dog is so well behaved. So no, I’m not a dog trainer but the winklers taught and showed me how to train my dog and now I have a buddy I can go anywhere with and not be concerned at all about his behavior.

Highly recommended. The Winklers provide training and positive solutions for the dog that is standing in front of them. That’s for sure.
Meaning they use their extended knowledge and training experience from an impressive built resume and achievements earned in the working dog industry to your dog. Instead of pushing the same old training methods and techniques for all dogs brought to them. They teach and give lessons on what will work for your dogs happiness and progress.
The Winklers have helped me with two working dogs. Both dogs were Malinois with completely opposite personalities, in which they each needed a different approach and direction in training. Armin and Tazzie Winkler made it easy to learn and provided me the understanding of why it all worked.
