I run a 501c3 GS Rescue and we use Rick Sanders for all our training and evaluations. His expertise is truly exceptional and he has a natural gift with the dogs. He has worked with some of our dogs that have struggled with issues for months with not progress and just a fewndays the changes are remarkable. It is important to realize with such exceptional tesults they only stick and become life long habits with repetitive work that we and our adopters have to continue to work with but he is able to set the foundations for postive change and a path to establishing life long wonderful habits and good canine citizenship.

I just picked my dog up yesterday after he spent a week with Rick and there is an immediate improvement with his behavior in the house and on the leash. It was hard to leave him but Rick treats all the dogs like they were his own. Even on the very first day, he was waiting for me outside, gave me a nice tour and demonstration with his dog. He always texts and sends videos of progress and is very responsive, it really made me feel at ease and that I made the right decision. I will certainly update my review when we’re completed with the program but I can already see a positive difference. Rick Sanders was kind enough to allow me to adopt my dog a year after my beloved Jack Russel died. He had trained JZ, a cavachon since he was a puppy. Unfortunately the dog was not the right fit for the family that originally owned him. When I went to pick him up, an assortment of dogs - all breeds and varying sizes - where sitting or laying in place. I was amazed at the cleanliness of the environment as well as the obedience of the dogs. Some were owned by Rick and others were owned by clients. From the start, Rick taught me how to assimilate my pet into my home and how and when to discipline him. He made himself readily available whenever I had a question or issue that needed to be addressed. I have owned dogs of various breeds from childhood, yet Rick taught me that having a well-disciplined pet improved the relationship on both ends. JZ is a service dog, which means I can take him into stores, restaurants, and other places where pets are normally restricted. I am able to do this without incident. I remember the first time Rick brought JZ and me to a restaurant. The dog laid under the table the entire time. As a result of working with Rick, I have a well-trained dog that I can take anyplace without incident. I know other people who have had similar success with Rick and I wholeheartedly recommend him every chance I get.

Rick is a true gem of a human; not only he is fantastic with dogs; he is also equally amazing with humans. He is a five star dog trainer he can read dogs mind. He knows exactly how they're feeling and how to adjust training to fit their specific needs. I highly recommend Rick for dogs training and boarding. He keeps entire facility including kennels cleaned and disinfected. He takes care of dogs as you do for your own dog. It is very apparent that dogs adore him.
