Enchanted Ranch Boarding & Training

We've tried Enchanted Ranch twice, and both experiences were extremely poor. The first time we boarded our dogs here, a dog became extremely sick, forcing the others to essentially be quarantined in their crates for the duration of the stay. We considered this an extenuating circumstance, so we recently gave Enchanted Ranch another try. We boarded our two dogs, along with their individual crates, for ten nights. When we returned to pick up our dogs, we found the room the dogs are kept in covered in urine and excrement. About half of the dogs were free to roam the room while the other half (including ours) were kept in crates. Of the dogs in crates, several had multiple piles of excrement in the crates with them. In two crates, there was even excrement in the water bowls with the dogs. Although we had provided two crates, our dogs were both placed in one, and someone else's dog in the second (which was filled with multiple piles of excrement). We had provided mattress pads with the crates, but the pads had been removed and were covered in dried excrement. In the end, our dogs, crates, and pads were filthy and needed thorough cleaning the minute we returned home. This is not what I would expect from a boarder that charges the rates of a 3-4 star hotel. I've seen much better conditions in a non-profit animal rescue.
