Enjoy Your Dog Training is a professional, force-free dog training facility based in Downers Grove, IL. Led by owner and head trainer Pam Yano, CPDT-KA, we specialize in small-group dog training classes limited to four dogs per class, private in-home training, reactive dog programs, puppy training, and therapy dog preparation and evaluation.
Our certified trainers use positive reinforcement and fear-free methods to help dogs of all ages build confidence, focus, and real-world skills. We are known locally for our Therapy Dog, Facility Dog, and AKC Canine Good Citizen programs, as well as our community outreach and education efforts.

We just began classes with our 12 week old Golden Retriever, Murphy this past week. It's been a LONG time since there was a puppy in our family and we hoped to gain some insight into how we can best manage this little guy who seems to be equal parts angel, piranha and whirling dervish--Mindy and Jen gave us great pointers and advice to help us start training him in a fun, informative and helpful way. We look forward to continuing classes and can't wait to get more helpful information to make our family feel confident we can handle all the aspects of his training!

Dealing with Pam has been easy. She is quick to respond to emails. The classes have been nice also. Mindy is great to work with and answers all questions. Our dog Fiona (1 y.o. English Mastiff) really enjoys the classes. She is really worn out by the end. The small class size is nice as it allows things to move at the dogs pace just in case you do not get it right the first time. :) I would highly recommend giving the classes a try, we just singed up for our third!

My pup is 14 and has some doggy dementia so I’m always looking for ways to keep her mind working. I took her to the Boredom Buster class and we both had a blast! She was exhausted before class was over and it was great to try toys before buying and see what she likes. I also loved the homemade toys! Pam was great and had lots of good information and tips. The class was small so each dog had plenty of personal space. I will definitely be looking into some of the other classes offered!

We brought our dog to the Boredom Busters class last night. We learned lots of games and activities (many which we can make do with our dog, especially during these winter months. Thank you!

Highly recommend Enjoy your Dog. My 3 year old Aussie has been through MANY of their courses, each one a success. Now the pup is on his way to learning new valuable and fun skills. Small class size is a huge bonus. Thank you all.
