I did a 6 week puppy obedience course through Sam with my pitbull in the summer of 2025. My puppy was 4 months old when we started, and she was very timid. I had to carry her through the door our first 2 classes because she wouldn't walk through the door. I was feeling defeated after our 3rd class because the other puppies were picking up each task quickly, while Nova wasn't wanting to do any of them. After everyone else left, we stayed & talked to Sam about how we were feeling about how Nova was doing. I was ready to give up & quit the class because I felt it was a lost cause. Sam gave me a hug when I started crying, & she reassured me that we were doing just fine, and that pitbulls tend to be a very stubborn breed, so it wasn't a big deal at all that she was behind the other puppies. She gave me a cot to use at home to do training with Nova. Sam suggested that we could try a soft dog bed to see if Nova would feel more comfortable with placement on that versus the cot. I tried a big dog bed & Nova did fine with it. By week 4, Nova gained more confidence. She walked through the door with no problems, and she stepped on the cot, then eventually placed on the cot, patiently waiting for treats. In the last training class Nova and I had to get in front of the class and show the skills we learned in each class. I was so nervous that Nova was going to make me look like a fool in front of the other pet parents. But to my surprise, she did amazing!! Nova earned her certificate at the 6 week class, which was a proud dog mom moment 🙂. Sam told all of the pet parents that if we had any questions or needed advice about our dogs we could reach out to her any time. She asked me about 2 months after our last class how Nova was doing with the skills we learned. That made me feel like she genuinely cares about our progress. During our first class Sam showed us products that would be helpful, including a certain kind of leash that slips around the dogs neck & you can loosen it & tighten it. (I can't remember the name/type of leash.l I immediately ordered the leash on Amazon & I'm so glad I did. That's all we use for Nova now. Sam also discussed crate training & how to crate train. I had never crate trained a dog before, so I learned a lot of helpful information. I just talked to Sam a couple of days ago when she asked again how Nova is doing and gave advice about my concerns. I want to do another training class with Sam to get Nova to feel comfortable around people and other dogs since she's still timid. I would 100% recommend Sam as a trainer to pet parents.

Sam is the absolute best!! She's currently training my pup. He's always so happy to see her. My pup has made great strides since meeting sam and we are very happy with his progress. Sam is so amazing, she sends videos, pictures and updates regularly so you don't miss your pup tooooo bad. Sam has a ton of certifications and they are all posted clearly. All in all, I recommend Sam with all of my heart ❤️

Sam is truly the best! My dog Ella is so much more well behaved & so much easier to manage. She has helped us learn how to take control back in our home while maintaining a loving relationship with our girl. She also recommended food for our dog that has been INCREDIBLE. She has lost some much needed weight just by switching her food. Our dog used to be so picky & now is absolutely obsessed with her new food!!! Thank you Sam for changing our relationship with our girl for the better- I will always recommend her forever!
