FirstBarkSam is amazing at what she does and my Doberman is quite stubborn and he responds to her very well. I would recommend Sam to anyone with a pup that needs some training or retraining.

Sam did a great job working with my German Shepherd, she helped her get over car ride issues as well as taught her to have an awesome recall and great social abilities.
Highly recommend Sam! She’s had one of my dogs multiple times, whether it was for a board and train or just for boarding. Sam gladly took both of my dogs in when I was sick and constantly in the hospital at short notice, once she even picked them up for me because I was already in and couldn’t bring them to her. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE- do not trust. Our experience with Sam’s Train, Play & Stay was devastating. We entrusted our healthy, happy dog to their care for 8 days, and when we picked him up, he was severely underweight — having lost 13 pounds — dehydrated, covered in raw hotspots, and acting completely unlike himself. He required immediate veterinary hospitalization. The vet confirmed he had not been provided with adequate food or water during his stay. They also confirmed trauma to his mouth either by sam the owner or by being attacked by another dog. This was not just neglect — it was abuse. To make matters worse, when we reached out to discuss what happened, the owner, Sam, blocked both of us on Facebook so we couldn’t share our experience or leave feedback on their page. This is unacceptable behavior from any business, let alone one entrusted with the lives of beloved pets. We are sharing this here so other pet owners can be warned and make informed decisions before leaving their animals in this facility’s care.
