Our Theo is 3 years old and while he has a great personality, we struggled to connect with him in a way he understood especially regarding recall while off leash. Working with Nick and the method he teaches has been transformative for Theo and for us. We can now take him for a walk off leash with confidence and he understands many obedience related commands without hesitation. We are looking forward to many years of human/dog relations without misunderstanding. Thanks Nick!

We are beyond grateful to Nick for his incredible work supporting Theo over the course of a four week board and train. Theo is three and was part of an abandoned litter; we rescued him early in the pandemic. Initially he was afraid of the world and was pretty reactive and nervous in many situations. We wanted him to have the option to be off leash, but his recall was so inconsistent that it wasn’t a choice. Through Nick’s consistency, guidance and amazing connection with Theo, his transformation has been truly remarkable. Nick built an unwavering connection of comfort and security that allowed Theo to trust his little world and Nick gradually expanded his environment as Theo was ready to take on new challenges. He has been home with us for a month and through consistent lead work and structure, Theo is more centered and comfortable and is enjoying exploring the world off leash! Nick is responsive to questions and provides concrete feedback. We never could have gotten to this point without Nick’s amazing abilities!🙏🙏🙏

Nick has been a god-send. We adopted a 7 year old dog, Sparkle, who had been with foster parents for three years as they searched for a family who could care for her, since she’s a runner and she ran away multiple times. She even jumped over 6ft fences, so she was always having to be chained up if outside. We have a farm with lots of space, but nothing is fenced in so we didn’t know how to keep Sparkle safe while also allowing her to have the freedom to run and play and be an off-leash dog. She went to Nick for five weeks and came back a completely improved dog. We now have full control over her with voice commands, which means she now gets to run through the woods with our other dog, while staying with the pack and not trying to run away. Her happiness has increased so much, and we could not be happier with her. We weren’t sure that Nick would be able to teach this “old dog” new tricks, but he blew it out of the water. He strongly recommend him for everyone - he is thorough, clear, and made sure we had everything we needed to maintain her behavior once she came home to us. Sparkle has a better life, as do we, thanks to Nick!!

Nick transformed our lives with his training and development of our wonderful dog Sparkle. We adopted Sparkle when she was 7 years old. She had run away from her foster parents and they had a hard time finding her a forever home due to this. She ran away from us several times as well. After 5 weeks with Nick, Sparkle is now able to be off leash, recall, be calm and enjoy life to the utmost fullest! Thank you Nick for changing our lives and the life of Sparkle for the better!

We are eternally grateful to be working with Nick in training our rescued dog, Ranger. His deep knowledge of canine behavior and body language has been profoundly crucial, along with his professionalism and communication to educate us. With his previous owners, we believe Ranger had been poorly socialized the first 5 years of his life, which resulted in him being very insecure, reactive and fearful. He would lunge and bark toward dogs that he'd see across the street and did not know how to walk properly on a leash. Our only regret is not reaching out sooner to Nick, who is the training coordinator of the rescue organization. In the one year of following the training exercises (lead drills) on our own and during sessions with Nick, we noticed improvements in Ranger's behavior. By working with Nick, we learned how to have clear communication with Ranger and how to guide him through any uncomfortable situation he may face. We trusted only Nick to board & train Ranger while we were traveling, because we knew he'd not only get intensive & consistent training but that Nick would care of Ranger if he was his own dog. Nick surpassed our expectations and after the B&T, Ranger has come out of his shell much more and become noticeably chill overall. Before, he would have extreme "stranger danger" but now he is able to share space with house guests and even ask for pets from them. We will continue to work with Nick for Ranger's training and know he has set us up for success.
