Eric Young's K9 Behavior Solutions

I can’t recommend Eric Young highly enough as a dog trainer. From the very first session, it was clear he truly understands dogs on a deep level and not only that but the owners! His experience shows and from the moment he stepped into my home it was work time! There’s no fluff and he trains to a very high standard. I was at my wits end and honestly was so stressed out that I found myself hiding from my best friend because of how draining working with him was. I’ve worked with working dogs before but Boogs fear and aggression was a mountain that seemed too much to bare. Then came Eric! What he was able to show me had my blue heeler who averages 60,000-70,000 steps a day more tired in 30 minutes than a 2 hour walk. My dog couldn’t walk outside without trying to fight me every step of the way. I was scared that when not if he got away I would have to put my dog down for him hurting someone. He was extremely aggressive to the point where I would have to tackle and wrestle him to where I could carry him away, he broke leashes and harnesses with his pulling, He would nip at family members who he loves, and car rides were impossible with him shaking and barking the entire time. Eric has instilled a confidence in me to where I can see myself taking my dog to job sites with me. I can walk outside of my house and breathe and meet my neighbors and their dogs. I don’t have to worry if he’s going to spot a plastic bag in the wind and rip my arm out or bust my face into the concrete. Eric and tank are a calming presence and he’s able to talk to dogs or something. My dog used to be satan and yesterday we went and got pup cups and meet a group of kids passing by us on a walk without any stress! I could go on all day but you’ll have to meet him! He gave me my best friend back! Boogs was approved to be my service animal today! That in itself should show how high of a standard Eric trains to. Worth every penny!

Eric worked wonders with our dog, Lexi. From the first visit, she was already a different dog. We were at a point where we were considering having to rehome her. The kids couldn't be around her because she was too wild and rough, and we'd tried positive training with a trainer before, but it wasn't effective. She lunged at cars, was out of control on walks, and couldn't even be in the yard with us without biting our heels and ripping clothes. Eric not only worked with us on her behavior but was invested in us as a family and in having a good relationship and bond with Lexi. It was clear that he truly cared and he went above and beyond to make sure we were completely happy with everything. Now she is the sweetheart we knew she was, but she is so calm, happy, and is the best family dog. He really worked a miracle with her, and I could not recommend him enough. If you choose him, he will have your back!

Our dog was having aggression issues, and it was causing us a lot of stress. While on walks or at the dog park, he would bark and try to attack other dogs. We couldn’t go on walks with him without anywhere where we might run into another dog. We had used other trainers in the past, but Eric was very different. In just the first session, our dog was behaving differently around other dogs and no longer attacking them. Most importantly, we learned through practice how to walk him and how to handle it if he became aggressive. Now we can go on walks anywhere with no issues. It took practice on our part, but Eric was very patient. I have been recommending him to my friends and neighbors. Very pleased.
