Evergreen School For Dogs

We brought our dog Moose to Evergreen School for Dogs in August 2026 for jumping, pulling on leash and being overly friendly. Corday kept us up to date with our dog's progress and where she had conducted training that day using photos and text. This reassured us that training was being conducted in many different locations and that Moose was progressing very well and he was happy in his surroundings. Corday gave us simple exercises to work on and I'm happy to report Moose continues to improve. He still thinks everyone is his best friend but with his training, he no longer jumps on people, and I can walk him on his leash with no problem. The most telling moment for me was when I took him to our favorite store. There were three small children. He sat and was very polite and let them pet him without giving them a tongue bath. This is HUGE!! Moose LOVES kids. We recommend Evergreen School for Dogs to anyone who feels their dog would benefit from additional training and is searching for a qualified trainer. We have a slightly high-maintenance little dog who has a gentle spirit but a rescue-dog’s reactivity on rare occasions. She has never hurt another dog or tried, but is a little difficult sometimes. We just went on a three week vacation abroad and this was our second time using Corday. We wouldn’t be able to leave the country without her. We got regular pics but not too many every couple of days with casual updates, our girl has a slight muscular issue and Corday kept us updated on that, and we just picked up our girl and she is well-adjusted and happy. Given our dog being a rescue, knowing she is in good hands is very very important to us. We feel a special responsibility since she had three homes before us. I felt no guilt on this trip—Corday enjoys our dog, our dog is healthy and happy and entertained there, gets supervised play, and training. We love this place!
