We highly recommend Nate as a dog trainer! One of the many qualities he has, which can lack in other trainers, is his ability to assess the dog’s particular temperament and gauge a specialized training program for good manners to fit the dog. This has been a life saver for us! We have a beautiful 4 month old golden retriever named Rosie. She has needed correction with her overzealous biting condition. She is not a mean puppy. She is a lovable, intelligent, sweet girl. As Nate explains it, she was not able to pick up bite inhibition from her litter mates. Nate smiled at us and called her “Spicy “! He said he loves her personality and spunk and can help her with manners that will not break her spirit. Nate had her obeying, with tail wagging at him, within a 1/2 hr of our 1st meeting. We’ve had 3 sessions with him and he’s helping us learn the skills so we will have the same results. We have already noticed leaps and bounds in her control and behavior. Nate shows his strong love for all dogs and he gives us respect and encouragement. All positive energy! I rescued a 4 yr old female Rottie 101# that was super strong used to running free in south which made it more of a challenge. She was strong willed & stubborn, & Nate turned her around in 2 sessions giving me great tools to work & communicate with her, the change has been incredible and she is amazing on leash. All of Nate’s advice was solid and he really in my case was a “dog whisperer” . I would highly recommend him to anyone! Thank you Nate

The Best. I've taken my pup to group obedient classes as well as had private training at our house before working with Everyday Canine- nothing was as good. We actually like training now. Nate clearly likes dogs. He listens well, focuses on what's important to you for your dog, explains the reasoning behind techniques and uses the training techniques he's teaching me on his own dogs. Communication has been easy and I've noticed a difference in my dog's behavior (coming when called, not barking a lot, etc.) in a few sessions.

I couldn’t be more pleased with Every Day Canine. This is the best dog trainer we’ve encountered. Our yellow lab, Scout, is a great dog but with a number of challenging behaviors (barking, resource guarding, poor recall etc.) and we had had multiple trainers over the past year with mixed results. We started getting results with Nate literally on the first day. None of our trainers had been able to help stop Scout from resource guarding - now after working with Nate we can feed her literally right next to another dog without problems. Her recall is improved, her barking, her behavior, all from just a few sessions. Nate is professional, friendly, helpful, asks good questions and is incredibly good with our dog, and he has his own dogs he has trained effectively so he is speaking from experience. He defers to what we want to work on and explains things very helpfully. If you’re looking for an effective trainer in the area, I couldn’t recommend this one more highly!!
