About Every Dog Behavior and Training (South)
Every Dog Behavior and Training is a NONPROFIT helping you get the behavior and training support you need. Our certified, positive reinforcement trainers and behavior specialists in Austin, TX are here to help you with everything from puppy socialization to basic manners/obedience to nosework and agility. We also help with fear, anxiety, aggression, and other behavior problems. We host group classes in both North and South Austin and do private in-home training throughout Austin. We offer financial assistance on all of our programs, to ensure that cost isn't a barrier to training. We also offer Spanish-language training, free webinars, and a referral list of all of the certified, positive reinforcement trainers in Austin.

What are the best options for training my new puppy?
That's a great question! Puppy socialization is VERY important. Puppies are learning a lot about the world from about 8-14 weeks during their "critical socialization period," so it's very important that they start doing things and meeting people early. We want to keep puppies safe until they're vaccinated, but puppy classes are a very safe way to start training and socializing as early as 8 weeks. Our puppy classes will teach basic skills like how to sit, drop it, and walking on leash. Puppy Kindergarten will also cover topics like how to stop puppies from biting, potty training, preventing puppies from chewing on things they shouldn't, and avoiding other future problems. Puppy training classes also provide socialization with other puppies to help them learn appropriate play, as well as meeting new people in a safe environment (again, puppies do not have to be fully vaccinated to start puppy classes!). We can also set up private training sessions for puppies!

The south location has great trainers, a lot of love, and great experience handling dogs. They take their time with dogs and pay close attention to every person and dog that comes through their doors. I'm so glad they have a chance to take care of more dogs with this expansion to their own South location! I'm excited to see all they will do with this expansion!
