Julie Atchison is a great trainer! I actually am a retired professional trainer so I tend to be overly picky and I rarely recommend trainers. But when I got a Standard poodle who was a bit too active for me at my age, I did private lessons with Julie because my vet recommended her. She is not only the most experienced trainer in our area but she truly is the best! Her understanding of dogs and her ability to help their owners is amazing; I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Where do I even start… I was desperate when I first talked with Julie about my GSD pup. With her training, guidance, and recommendations, we have been able to overcome some major obstacles. Our little guy has improved tremendously and I couldn’t be more thankful to have Julie on our team! I would absolutely recommend her for training with any breed, but specifically German Shepherds — Her knowledge and understanding of my dog has been extremely helpful. Thank you, Julie! Julie is a fantastic trainer who truly takes the time to understand your pet and situation. She is a professional and she gives sound advice based on her experience, observation, and the large amount of time she's spent refining her craft. If you have a dog and you want to understand the best approach for taking care of and training your pet she is hands down one of the best trainers in the triad.
