Hi, I’m Ingo, owner of Exceptional Canines In-Home Dog Training. I help puppies, adopted dogs, and dogs with behavior issues like leash reactivity, anxiety, and impulse control. My training is customized to your dog , because your dog is unique, and because cookie-cutter training usually falls apart the second the doorbell rings. With 30+ years of experience as a professional trainer, AKC CGC Evaluator, and certified dog behavior advisor, I bring calm structure, practical tools, and real-world solutions that actually hold up at home. He is a strong communicator and really taught me so much about how to love my dog and treat with kindness and combine it with strict rewards and guidance. He is an amazing trainer. I had a tough assignment of training my puppy to be a “shop dog”. He totally grabbed the challenge and met me both at my home and my shop to make her a great dog. Daisy loved him and we worked so well together. I recommend him highly and know that you’l have a fantastic experience working with Ingo. Trust him- he really knows dog training …and owner training!!

Ingo was very helpful setting me on the right path to get my Shihtzu potty trained. His methods can be adjusted to your needs and it works. It is not difficult and Wicket got it within a couple days. The accidents in the house are no more with adjusting how I handled things. He pees on command outside and is very motivated to do so with treats. I used some of Ingo’s recommendations and they helped so much. It isn’t hard and it is affordable once you know what, when and how to do it. Ingo gives you all the tools you need to be successful.

Recently Ingo came to our house to do the assessment on my one year old husky. During that time he was able to make several suggestions for behavioral modification, we watched Ingo work with our dog which gave us an opportunity to improve our interactions with my dog. As a result we have been able to work with our dog and been able to seen a significant improvement in his behavior and interaction with us. Hopefully we will continue to see progress from Ingo suggestions.
