We would like to thank Ingo for the amazing job he did helping us with our St Bernard puppy. E went through his puppy program and it was worth every penny. He was always available in between visits and provided quick and helpful tips and techniques. He even went above and beyond when our 100lb “puppy” decided to get playful with her powerful mouth. I was covered in bruises and wasn’t sure what we were going to do. Ingo made a special trip over to our house and within an hour he had her responding to a new collar. That was 2 weeks ago and since then she has been our sweet girl and I even walk her every day over 2 miles and I’m constantly getting compliments on how well we walk. We have even taken what we learned and have taught our older dogs New tricks! I highly recommend Ingo for any stage your dog is in. But I especially would use his training for a puppy and set them up for success right from the start. Thank you Ingo for giving us an amazing dog!

We did the puppy training program with Exceptional Canines. Our initial consultation was very thorough. Ingo took his time to understand our family’s needs not only with the puppy, but our other dogs in the house as well. Ingo‘s lessons are very easy to follow and we saw progress immediately. We were able to utilize the skills we learned from Ingo to apply to our older dogs as well. One of the most helpful training sessions was to teach the puppy how to appropriately walk with a gentle lead. Now we can enjoy walks without any pulling or poor behavior related to distractions. Ingo came to our house one week ago and based on his observations, advice and implementing his suggestions, I am immediately seeing results! I contacted Ingo to address poor doggy manners, leash pulling and barking with my two dogs. He contacted me within the same day and even reached out on a Sunday, since I teach and weekends are when I get most errands done. He provided video links so that I could see his methods before our consultation. After the 90 minute in-home consultation, I felt I was equipped with a plan to start working with my dogs. I appreciate that Ingo begins with corrections and never made me feel like a bad dog owner for previously encouraging behaviors that now need correcting. Through my consultation I also realized how much I was learning as well as the dogs. I have had several friends and family over since learning training techniques to eliminate jumping up and crowding at the door. Everyone has complimented me on the difference they are seeing and are surprised that they are seeing results so quickly. Ingo also provided me with more video links and product referrals to address my dogs' bored behavior. His videos are free & informative. I have been working consistently with my family and the dogs to ensure they are getting corrective training and positive reinforcement. I cannot wait for my next session to learn more and maximize my dogs' potential. Our dogs do not jump up on our guests at the door. Now they sniff their feet and then go about their way. They are also learning NOT to be attention seeking and paw at guests for pets and attention. I highly recommend Exceptional Canines and Ingo if you are trying to address behaviors with your dog.

Really happy with the progress my little girl made on just day one!!! We worked on leash pulling and good manners when it comes to excitement! Can’t wait for her to finish her program. Ingo was very friendly and gave actual advice. Came with good quality treats. Brought examples of different collars and leashes and explained the differences for best outcomes. I can tell Ingo cares about the success of my pup and I’m so proud of her!
