Carlos is the best trainer in the area. He is one of the most respectful and kind people you will meet. What sets him apart from other trainers is his deep understanding of each breed's innate behaviors. He tailors his training for each specific dog and does so where the dog is never discouraged from any session. He is very detailed- you and your dog will be ready for anything you want to accomplish. We adopted a 6-year-old Jack Russell (Jake) full of energy. Jake would pull on the leash, had no recall skills outside, and would run after any bird or squirrel. Carlos came highly recommended by a family member, so we reached out immediately. Currently, Jake is walking like a champ right by our side (on and off-leash) and is off-leash at the park and during hikes. Carlos has saved us so many headaches and we can now say we have a well-behaved dog living life to the fullest! Don’t think twice about the right person to train your dog- Carlos is the one. Whatever you want to accomplish Carlos will get you there.
Carlos has a lot of expertise and experience with a variety of dog types and was able to help us out a ton with house- and crate-training our rescue dog, Sadie. He is very responsive and knowledgeable, and is great at explaining his methods to owners to help your dog in whatever way they need. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone in need of them!

Carlos is a fantastic trainer and words cannot express how grateful we are to have found him! A previous trainer told us we should return our ten week old puppy to the breeder and had no idea how to help us with some behavioral issues. Enter Carlos! When our Vizsla puppy was 6 months old he spent a month with Carlos in board and train. Wow what a difference! He now has beautiful heel, recall, place and leave it commands- we get compliments everywhere we go. Carlos gave us the confidence to manage and communicate with our puppy and the stress we were feeling is now gone. We still have to get through the "terrible teens" but know we can do it with Carlos by our side! He is a phenomenal teacher and uses gentle and patient methods for both dogs and humans :). He genuinely cares about your success and is extremely knowledgeable about his profession. If you are looking for an amazing trainer we highly recommend Carlos- it's truly life changing!
