I am the only groomer and owner and I’m hands on with the dogs during the day, unfortunately I had to leave over the weekend for a memorial service and it threw our grooming schedule off more than usual. Currently we don’t have a dedicated front staff, but a text giving you the option to confirm or cancel would’ve gone out to you t this afternoon. Hi Nora,<br><br>I’m so sorry to hear that your experience with us left you feeling this way. Henry was an absolute joy to have during his three-week stay! He was sweet, affectionate, and incredibly responsive during training. It’s heartbreaking to hear that you left feeling disappointed, as our goal is always to provide care and communication that help both pet and owner feel supported.<br><br>I did receive and respond to your initial messages, and I’m truly sorry if international service caused issues with those reaching you. I also apologize for missing your email initially. Once I found it, I made sure to respond and followed up with multiple updates to keep you in the loop as best I could. <br><br>At Henry’s go-home, I was happy to see how enthusiastic about training he has become! He was eager, relaxed, and even tried to follow me back into the back when it was time to say goodbye. He took treats from strangers in the lobby and did fantastic for his groom, which I did personally. While the go-home session was shorter than usual due to an unexpected staffing shortage, I had shared my intention to continue with follow-up lessons at your home, especially since that’s where Henry had the most challenges. I figured real world scenario training would be the most beneficial for both you and him. I was beginning to grow concerned after a handful of attempts to reach out and schedule those follow-ups, especially with the remaining balance still unpaid nearly a month after Henry’s return. I always aim to be flexible and understanding, and I was hopeful we could reconnect to finish out his program strong. After all, the board and train is only half the program, the second and arguably most important half are the hands on private lessons once he's settled back into his home routine.<br><br>I’m sad to hear he seemed stressed after returning home. Transitions, especially after a long stay, can be tough on some dogs, but I’m always here to offer continued support and resources. I wish we had been able to reconnect post-board and train to go over that together.<br><br>I understand that this experience was important to you, and I’m truly sorry if I fell short of your expectations. Your feedback matters, and I’ll be using it to reflect and improve. Henry really was a wonderful boy, and I hope he’s doing well!<br><br>—Tarin
