As a dog breeder, I know how important (and hard) it is to find the right dog trainer. Even if you know how to train your puppy or dog, there is no replacement for group classes. I recommend Faithful Friends Dog Training to all of my puppy families in Santa Fe because Deb provides the perfect combination of structured socialization, constructive feedback, and FUN! My puppies look forward to their classes with Deb, and they're happier and better canine citizens because of our sessions at Faithful Friends.

A review from two first-time puppy people: Deb is the best! Deb helped us learn how to empathize with Toad and try to see the world through his eyes. We loved our puppy from the minute he came home, but our relationship with him really transformed for the better over the course of Puppy Elementary, Deb gave us structure to work with and a dose of compassion for our puppy to take home with us as he learned (and weekly homework activities!). We felt like we got a lot of individual attention despite it being a group class and all of us bonded with Deb (especially Toad, who loved her!) We totally recommend Faithful Friends to anyone who could use help with focused activities to help their dog adjust to the human world. Her approach is professional, positive, and thoughtful, and she’s hilarious and an all around fun person to spend an hour with each week.

I rescued a Lhasa apso that had to have his eyes removed due to an injury... I called Deb to get help as he had been somewhat neglected and has some behavioral. problems in addition to now being sightless. I really needed help.... I called and left a message ... I think twice. When she finally responded she sent me a text saying she would call in a day or two... never heard back. This was a referral from someone who spoke highly of her...
