Family Dog Obedience

I cannot praise Family Dog Obedience Enough. Val and her team are fantastic! We had previously taken a puppy class somewhere else, so we came in to FDO for a Basic Manners class. Before registering, Val took the time to consult with me via phone and email to see what the best level class we should start with. My dog was quite a bratty puppy when we started with Val. Here we are almost 3 years later, and the knowledge we've obtained from training here is amazing. We are a therapy dog team and we've started doing agility too! Val and crew really understand that training isn't JUST for the dog, it's for the whole family too!

First off, this is a Fantastic Training Facility! I've been bringing my puppy to classes here since she was 12 weeks old (she is now 1 year). Our first puppy class was a god-send! I left that class with confidence I had made a good decision to bring a new puppy home and go to FDO for training. I also brought home a few commands I could use to better manage my fuzzy-piranha at home. Each week the classes were well organized and the pace was well suited for little brains (and bladders). We have since moved up through Pre-agility and into Agility 1a and my dog and I are having a blast! The skills and behaviors that are taught in the beginning levels set you up for success in whatever your want to pursue with your dog. There are classes for every interest! Overall this is just a wonderful place to learn to train your dog. Val and Pam are awesome. Just a heads-up because these classes are great (possibly the best around anywhere) the puppy classes do tend to fill up quickly. Make sure you sign up early to secure your spot.
