About Family First K9
Since 2008, Family First K9 has been helping families achieve their goals with their dogs. Using positive and fun training methods, we offer a variety of services including puppy class, basic/advanced obedience training, board and train programs, protection sports, scent work and professional detection/tracking dogs. With the need for security increasing, we are proud to offer detection dog services for schools to increase overall safety for both students and administrators. Our dogs are trained to detect contraband that range from firearms to narcotics including fentanyl. Our services are flexible, affordable and will allow you to bring peace of mind to your students, parents and staff. Ask us about our trained dog sales!

I'm not 100% on this, but seeing as they do service dogs of all types I would have to say yes. I'll find out for you though.

How much is it
We offer multiple ways to train. Classes start with the puppy classes that cover socialization and obedience and progress to basic and advance class. We also offer scentwork classes. Our working dog club meets on saturdays and we have private lessons and 30 day board and trains. More information can be found on our facebook page.

Jeremy is the dog whisperer! I have a 1 yr old female German shepherd rescue who developed bad habits and major anxiety due to lack of attention/care. Following commands was nearly impossible with her lack of focus. It’s not that she didn’t know the commands, just that she was too anxious and unfocused to follow through. Over the course of a month of her training with Jeremy he miraculously built her confidence up tremendously and she is eager to follow commands! She is sure of herself and finally has a confident and happy demeanor. There’s no better feeling than finding a solution to bettering your dog’s mental state. I am extremely pleased with the results that Jeremy provided and cannot recommend him enough. He is very experienced and knowledgeable, he knows his stuff! I was worried that my dog was beyond repair considering I’ve tried so many things to help improve her behavior and anxiety, but he gave me hope again and I can definitely say I have a changed dog! If you’re thinking about putting your dog in training, go to family first k9! You will not be disappointed. I would go to them 100 times over it is so worth it!
Our 1 year old Ausssidoodle Pete needed a little extra help in learning some basic skills and not jumping/pulling leash. Jeremy, Family First K9 was exceptional and I highly recommend them!! In one session we are already seeing so much positive improvement in Pete!!! We are so excited to keep using the skills we learned and take him back for some more training! 5/5 stars!!!
I took my 7 month old German shepherd, Reaper, to train with family first K9. The instructor was very knowledgeable about the breed and gave me lots of advice on helping him progress. Would recommend to anyone who's looking for an experienced trainer to go here.
