FirstBarkOur rescue dog came with some "special" behaviors in response to certain situations. Mekenzie worked with him (and us), providing methods to get him to be non-reactive in those situations in a kind but firm manner, and he has been doing great!

We've used Mekenzie twice now for our German Shepard puppy. The first time, was at 7 weeks old for the puppy crash course to learn kennel training, sleep schedule, and introduce some basic commands. We immediately saw the difference in our puppy when we brought her back home. Now that our puppy is 7 months old, we used Mekenzie again for the 2 week board and train. It's like a whole new puppy after the 2 week course. She's got understanding of basic commands, "place" training, leash training, and e-collar training. Mekenzie even added in some brewery/restaurant manners since we mentioned wanting to take our dog to the local brewery with us more often. The training she provides is so detailed and specific to each dog. The send home packet she includes makes it so easy to continue the training at home. She's been able to answer any questions and provide helpful tips by phone once our puppy came home. Can't say enough good things about both experiences we've had. We will definitely recommend her to friends/family!
Mekenzie did a fantastic job with our new German Shepherd puppy! We did her puppy crash course for 5 days to get him started on some crate/potty training, basic commands, and helping with leash manners. Our puppy was a while new puppy when we got him back. Her training is detailed and easy to continue on once our puppy was home. We will absolutely be seeking Mekenzie's services again!
