During the trainings, she was very flexible and patient and was able to provide us with all the tools we needed. We saw results almost instantly! Too friendly. They bark and jump on visitors looking for affection. In addition my Terrier will attack my Lab without any notice. usually when he decides nose one is paying too much attention to my Lab.Tanya was amazing with the dogs. Getting them to pretty much stop barking when visitors came, not jumping on visitors and helped control them when going for a walk.

My husband and I adopted a 5 year old lab from the Denver Animal Shelter and were quickly overwhelmed when we realized she was reactive on walks (ie: she barks and lunges at other dogs). We were referred to Tanya by our vet practice and eventually worked with her through six sessions not only on our dog's reactivity, but also on her leash skills and recall.
Working with Tanya was great: she taught us a variety of different set-ups/strategies to use with our dog, including counter conditioning, which is the most important thing a reactive dog owner can learn. The techniques she taught us have been a game changer for walking her, she now knows what to do when she sees another dog and she is much easier to walk.
We were also able to work with Tanya's adorable dog Zippo on different structured greetings. It was wonderful to see our dog actually calmly meet another dog and walk with Zippo without having a meltdown.
Besides her actual methods, which are effective and science-backed, she is also pleasant and professional to work with. After every session, we received great handouts and videos reinforcing what we'd talked about in sessions. She also offers very easy online scheduling via Calendly which was super convenient.
In short, we highly recommend working with Tanya on dog training!

Tanya is wonderful! We got referred to her by Dr. Robb at Goodheart Vet after our dog Ranger was very reactive to receiving vaccines. Tanya not only helped Ranger get more comfortable with people approaching and petting him, she also worked hard with us on teaching Ranger loose-leash skills. Ranger has been less anxious and we have learned how to teach others to interact with him. He also has been working hard at walking by our side and not pulling while on the leash. Tanya’s communication is amazing and teaches you how to work with your pup so you can continue even when the sessions are over. I couldn’t recommend her services enough!
