About Far Fetched Pets
At Far Fetched Pets, we practice Doggie Development , a thoughtful, real-world approach to raising a well-adjusted dog. Since 2009, we’ve helped NYC dog owners in Upper Manhattan build lasting bonds through structured play, socialization, and training woven into every outing. Led by CCPDT Certified Dog Trainer Sam Gedymin, our services go beyond the typical walk , reinforcing calm behavior, confidence, and better manners in everyday life. From puppy foundations to adult refinement, dogs are learning the whole time. The result: a calmer, more responsive dog at home , and a better experience for both of you. Sam helped us train our rescue and he is now well behaved. We also use Far Fetched Pets for daily walks and our dog runs to the door happily when the walker comes even tho he is hesitant with other walkers. We have had 2 diffferent dog walkers and both are responsible and caring. Our vet recommended Sam and we cannot be more pleased with the relationship. We may try other services at Far Fetched Pets since these have worked out so well. I cannot recommend Sam more highly.
Our 3-year old Lab mix goes out of her mind with excitement when she realizes that one of the Far-Fetched gang is about to pick her up. We’ve met three or four of the walkers, and all seem to be very special, attuned to our pet’s needs and clearly in synch with her.
Sam and his entire team at Far Fetched Pets are the absolute best! Maisie looks forward to each of her playgroups and comes back tired and happy. We could not live without them!! Thank you!!!
As a new dog owner I am overjoyed to have been connected to Far Fetched Pets through a neighbor. Our dog attends ‘Adventure Walks’ which she loves, and we love them because they tire her out!
