When we made the decision to bring home a German Shepherd puppy, we knew that we wanted to find a trainer who understood the breed and could teach us as well as the dog. Josh was very highly recommended so we started bringing Murphy for lessons when he was a few months old. Best decision ever! Josh is able to teach you how to see things from the dog's point of view; I found myself saying throughout each class "why didn't I think about that?"... Josh is so knowledgeable about how to work, not only with the genetics of the breed, but with the specific dog. We find that Murphy is very happy to follow instructions and learn new things when it's presented to him correctly so he understands what is expected from him. He has made steady progress, going from being overreactive, constantly barking at people and dogs and not much fun to bring places, to being much calmer, much more in control and a great walking partner. We look forward to joining obedience classes in August and we'll see where it goes from there! We do not hesitate to recommend Josh to people who are just getting a puppy and want to get off to a good start, or to those who have a dog that has issues to work on.

We had a 1st home training and evaluation with Josh , he was great! Exceptionally knowledgeable and great with his information. He went above and beyond in his evaluation for our 1st time. 🐶🐕💖 we will be definitely continuing our training for our Pebbles with him. Fearless K9 rocks 🤸♀️
Josh is fantastic. He won't tell you what you want to hear and he won't expect perfection from you. He comes prepared to listen, provide unfiltered information and the tools to use to proceed with your animal. He is insightful, incredibly knowledgeable and cares deeply about the relationships between the animals and their handlers. I'm so glad we made our way to Fearless K9!
