Fetch The Leash are the best, whether it’s for group classes, private training or separation anxiety work. Our rescue pup was far more anxious than expected when we adopted him and FTL have done the world for him - I don’t know what we would do without them. We have worked on fearfulness (of everything), reactivity, crate training, and general tricks/skills and he is now a braver, happier boy and continuing to grow.
Besides being excellent trainers, they’re great people, and our dog adores them.

Wilks has been attending classes since he was a year old - he is now TEN and still LOVES going to see Maria! As an Aussie it is really important that he gets brain workouts and classes at Fetch the Leash are perfect to wear him out!!

Bodie truly had the best time at puppy preschool, puppy camp, and the puppy socials! We’re planning to continue our fetch the leash training and can’t recommend them more!

Wonderful experiences from Puppy Preschool all the way through Beyond the Basics! Every trainer is so helpful and well versed in training humans to train their pups with positive reinforcement. We couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you especially to Anna and Yağmur who we trained the most with :)

1/5If you want a dog that can't be trusted if off leash, this is the way to go, I guess. I prefer voice control. Those first 17 weeks should be spent in bonding off leash between pup and person. If you want a dog that can't be trusted if off leash, this is the way to go, I guess. I prefer voice control. Those first 17 weeks should be spent in bonding off leash between pup and person. It can be done. I have raised 8 dogs this way. I didn't introduce the leash until the second year. Yeah, this takes wide open spaces, but Vermont has plenty of them. A dog who spends his entire life outside on a leash, is a slave.
