Anthony & Mike molded our stubborn 3 y.o. toller into a well-behaved member of the family. Cricket took a while to recover from his separation anxiety, but Anthony was able to win his trust and it was clear Cricket really enjoyed their time together. Anthony was also great at training our 16 & 6 y.o. daughters to be more confident dog handlers; they had so much fun at the gorgeous training facility. We can't wait to take him birdhunting, but even more exciting is all the tug-free, off-leash walks we'll be able to enjoy every day and trusting him to stay on place instead of getting into mischief around the house. A special thanks to Anthony on accommodating all my weird scheduling questions and requests- he was so flexible in ensuring the 3-month program integrated smoothly with everything else I was juggling at the time. Would definitely recommend Anthony & his team, and our next dog will be coming to see him much earlier- don't wait!!

Anthony helped polish up Cabela’s retrieve, point and obedience at about 1.5yrs old, she came back to me dialed in and has been amazing hunting dog & companion. Anthony and his team send daily updates, communicate well and know what they are doing. I saw progress with Cabela each 1:1 visit during her training (3 months) and I was consistently impressed. She even went into heat during her training and Anthony was flexible and cooperative to get her picked up and brought back after her cycle - amazingly patient. Thanks Anthony and team, have a good remainder of the bird season!

I HIGHLY recommend Fetching Feathers! Joe trained our first pointing lab six years ago and she has been a DREAM dog for us, in the house, in the field, every day. She is the best dog I've ever had and I give Joe a great deal of credit for that. When our dog had puppies last year, there was never any doubt that we would do anything possible to hire Joe to train the puppy we kept. Joe told us that he was now working at Fetching Feathers with Anthony and we began some drop in training once per week. After a few weeks, they had a full time spot open up and we didn't hesitate! Both Anthony and Joe did absolutely everything they promised that they would do to train our pup and more. We couldn't believe our eyes each and every week when we would go for our visit and a training session so that they could teach us what they've taught our dog. Each week our dog was learning by leaps and bounds! The weekly videos and written "report cards" were such a nice touch as well! What a wonderful surprise to receive a video of your pup working so well in the middle of the work week! Joe has become a great friend to us and Anthony's professionalism and expertise are amazing. I fully trust both of these men to do a great job with any dog at any time. We're looking forward to doing more training with Anthony and Joe next year! Thank you both for doing such a great job with not one but two of our dogs!

I cannot express how grateful we are for Anthony and Joe. From our very first conversation, I knew my wife and I had found the right place for a board-and-train program. While we weren’t looking to turn our newly adopted border heeler, Cash, into a bird dog — our primary hope was to help him build confidence and develop a solid foundation of obedience. Anthony and Joe exceeded every expectation. They met Cash exactly where he was, took the time to understand his quirks (there were a lot 😅), and worked with a level of care and patience and that made all the difference. Their approach was so thoughtful and clearly rooted in experience. The timid dog we dropped off came back transformed: noticeably more confident, desensitized to gunshots, eager to work, better socialized, and far more comfortable navigating the world. We appreciated the transparency and communication throughout the entire program — the updates, the videos, and the explanations of what they were working on and why. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Cash was in good hands, especially while we were traveling internationally for part of his stay. We can’t recommend the folks behind Fetching Feathers more highly. They gave Cash — and us — the tools to make real progress together, and we are so so so thankful.
