Fieldstone K9 Academy

Fieldstone K9 was an amazing experience for me, my family and our 3 German Shepards. I will never use another trainer or boarding facility ever! Stacey and Maddie transformed our 3 crazy dogs into 3 wonderful dogs! Our 3 German shepherds are siblings so at a young age the one male took the dominant role early on and we began to have to keep the boys separated due to fighting and our sweet girl was taking the backlash. Stacey and Maddie worked with all 3 correcting their bad behavior and teaching obedience. Before boot camp I couldn’t even walk them without being pulled everywhere. Now after boot camp they are back together, playing together, no aggression and walking like pros. Life is much happier for all of us! Thank you Fieldstone K9 I couldn’t ask for more caring compassionate trainers than you! I cannot wait to continue training with you and see how far they can go! We love Fieldstone K9!

I got a hold of Stacy and Maddie about puppy training for my shih tzu that had some bad puppy habits. I sure they had a chuckle when I told them what kind of dog she was since they usually have big dogs. Well let me tell you, by the time her training was over, she was like a different dog. I no longer have to leash her in my yard, she stays with me. She sits, heels etc. She no longer jumps on people like she did. I love that they took her on field trips. I highly recommend them.

I met Stacey and Maddie while they were training two dogs at Home Depot. I watched them for a while before approaching them. I was very impressed with their methods . After losing my beloved dog in a horrible accident I was very reluctant to trust anyone with my new puppy but knew I needed professional help. My new Italian greyhound has high anxiety and is afraid of EVERYONE! I tried on my own to socialize him, but after a year of no improvement I finally set up an evaluation session with Stacey. She had Baci taking treats from her within about 10 minutes. I was so happy!! The results have been amazing. She has trained ME!! I am learning how not to enable him, and take charge of his behavior. He will probably never be the greeter at Walmart lol but he’s coming around and learning appropriate behavior. Working at Home Depot i see Stacey and Maddy a few times a week, and their methods are so positive and consistent. Having a nervous, shy dog is something I never thought I would experience as we are very sociable and like to visit wineries breweries etc with our Italian greyhounds. Stacey is making that possible for us again, and helping Baci be a well behaved member of our family!!

My husband and I began looking for a trainer once our current Irish Red & White Setter became too strong to handle and we had exhausted our past training tricks. Fieldstone Academy was a local training facility whose name was given to us by our Invisible Fence technician. Even though it was mid-winter, Stacey was more than willing to evaluate Sullivan and had him walking with her in a matter of minutes. Needless to say, we immediately enrolled Sully in boot camp. Having spent a small fortune on other methods and trainers over the years, we found Stacey definitely reasonable for her expertise and amazing results. At some point Sully and his parents will need a refresher course, but in the meantime he gets occasional play dates, long walks on the treadmill, and the absolute best grooming from Stacey and Maddie. Pat and I are extremely pleased and more than happy to recommend Fieldstone Academy to anyone who has a less than "perfect child"! Stacey works extremely hard to bring out every dog's full potential.

Thank you Fieldstone, Stacy and Maddie! After a frustrating experience with a previous trainer, I was hesitant to trust another person with my dog. My last experience at board and train left my dog with a horrible upper respiratory infection and a fear of baths. I called Stacy for help and began a wonderful relationship for my dog, Tank, a 2 year old German Shepherd. Tank was not aggressive, but needed some manners and leash training. I needed to learn how to work with my dog. Stacy and Maddie were miracle workers! They would send me photos of Tank in Home Depot as well as Home Goods. There Tank was in a perfect down stay soaking in all the attention from shoppers. At home he transformed from a hyper dog to a relaxed family pet. His manners are 100 percent improved! I have become more comfortable walking with him and taking him places. He walks perfectly on a leash, will remain in a down position as I talk with strangers, and he enters and exits a car perfectly. By the way, he loves his bath time now! His grooming time with Maddie is a very wet, but happy experience. Stacy will check in every now and then to see how we are doing or ask if we need any support. Tank and I will visit for a tune up and short session. She is a master at reading dogs and communicating to owners what they need to do. I would recommend Stacy and Fieldstone to everyone who loves their dog and wants to build a wonderful relationship with them.
