Finishing School for Dogs LLC

We had Roxy over August 13th for a private dog training lesson and we couldn’t say enough good things! Our rott, Karl, and our pit mix, Roman, LOVED Roxy! She gave us so many insights to our dogs behavior and we are so excited to put them all into place. She knew what she was talking about and it really showed the very first time she interacted with the boys. Very responsive in anything we may have questions or concerns about. We are so grateful! ❤️

Update: Roxy was able to come to our house to help me learn how to introduce Izzy to my other dog in a safe way. She stayed with me and helped me to practice until I I was comfortable doing it on my own. I can tell that Roxy loves what she does and adores dogs!! I am grateful for her experience and positive attitude and would highly recommend her! We have had selective aggression with one of our dogs, Izzy, for years. Off and on, she would attack our other dog and we couldn't figure out the rhyme or reason. I reached out to Roxy with Finishing School for Dogs through text and she responded within the hour. She was very professional and understood what my needs were. She set up a time to call when it was convenient for me and I answered a few basic questions. We then were able to set up a Zoom meeting (due to COVID-19 social distancing restrictions) for the following day to discuss what we could do to begin training with Izzy. She gave me so many simple but purposeful ideas on what to start doing with Izzy and we were able to talk until all of my questions were answered. Roxy then followed up with an email that shared all of the resources that she had mentioned. I was able to ask additional questions after I had started implementing some of the strategies and she, again, answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend Rozy, as she has a wealth of experience and is willing to work with you where you are! Izzy is already showing signs of more confidence and positive behavior towards our other dog as we work on training her!

Roxy came to our house to help us get started training our 11-week old puppy. She immediately created a bond both with the puppy and our 8-year-old Husky mix. She had their full attention almost immediately! Filling us in on the background of her training methods, she demonstrated and described what she was doing and why, and allowed us to practice while she was there. Such a wealth of knowledge and experience! She spent 2 hours with us and followed up with more information via email and a reminder that she is available to us anytime we have questions. We're looking forward to attending her puppy class and learning more. Thanks, Roxy!
