Kayla, Rainbow, and Hunter are awesome. They are knowledgable, helpful, encouraging, well prepared, and supportive through it all. My experience never felt daunting or discouraging- we played as we learned; the pups (Cora) and as well as the peeps, lol. I am still utilizing at the tips and tricks we learned and building on them. 5 stars is not enough for how amazing Firefly K9 is. Without them, I truly would not be able to enjoy life with my dog the way I do now. Because of their support I have a deeper connection with my dog. They helped me understand the “why” behind my dog’s behavior and created a plan that best supported not only my dog, but also me and my family. What sets them apart is how deeply they care. They are not only advocating for every dog they work with, but also helping owners become the best handlers and advocates they can be. They have built such an incredible community centered around dogs, support, and education. They break everything down in a way that is easy to understand, answer every question without judgment, and are endlessly supportive and compassionate. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can’t recommend Hunter with Firefly K9 enough. Working with him has been an incredible experience for both me and my dog, Scarlett (a Cane Corso/Great Dane mix). When we started, we were focusing on leash training along with foundational commands like sit, down, stay, place, and socialization. What truly stood out about Hunter is that he doesn’t just train your dog—he teaches you how to properly communicate and work with your dog. That made all the difference. His approach helped Scarlett build self-awareness, control, and confidence, and I’ve seen such a positive change in her behavior. Hunter’s communication, patience, and ability to break things down in a way that makes sense for both the dog and the owner are outstanding. I feel much more confident as a handler, and Scarlett is thriving because of it.
