First Choice Canine

We sent our two Corso's, Penny and Rollo, to KB on a recommendation from a friend. It is the best decision we have ever made. Our family's quality of life has definitely changed for the better. Penny was struggling with general reactivity and Rollo was also reactive with fear based aggression towards other animals and people who did not live in our house. Both were terrible on a leash. We would have to put Rollo away during every holiday because he was so reactive towards our other family members. After a 5 week board and train (and 1 additional week of summer school 😀 for Rollo which KB did not charge us for) both dogs are doing so much better. They are both great now on a leash and off, near our home and in public. Both are way less reactive towards other people and animals. And now Rollo does not have to be put away when family comes over. Will even allow for chin scratches. Family members have said he's like a whole new dog. It makes our hearts very full to see both of our dogs so happy and well behaved. We have continued making his group classes when we can. It has been a big help continuing to show Rollo he can trust others. Thank You KB and the Canine First team! We'll continue to sing your praises to anyone who needs training help like we did. We brought our dog Bolt to Khaled and the team at First Choice Canine, and the results have been life changing. Since he was a puppy, Bolt struggled with stealing and eating things he shouldn’t (socks, napkins, baby toys, etc.), resource guarding, and being reactive on walks. Despite our best efforts, these issues persisted. After completing their three week program, Bolt is a completely different dog. Khaled and the team quickly identified that his behaviors came from fear and worked with him patiently to build his confidence. He no longer resource guards, he listens to commands, he doesn’t steal or eat things he shouldn’t, and he’s now calm and enjoyable to walk. When we picked him up, Khaled gave us a thorough overview of everything they had worked on and clear guidance for what to do moving forward at home. Thanks to their expertise, Bolt is now relaxed, well-behaved, and a good boy. I am beyond grateful to Khaled and the team. I would recommend First Choice Canine a thousand times over, and if we ever get another dog, this will be the only place we go for training.
