Flash Dog Training

If I had to say only one thing about Flash it would be this: Flash is a life changing investment for you + your dogs and I would recommend them tenfold. But, lucky for me, Google lets me say more than just one thing ;) We have 2 dogs - Lyla (5) is a rescue Pitt mix and Frankie (1.5) is a Great Pyr/Bernese Mtn Dog. Lyla has been high energy, anxious and reactive since we brought her home, while Frankie is calm, independent and generally well behaved. The girls got along so well from the day we brought Frankie home - they weren’t necessarily BFFs all of the time, but they played well, coexisted in our home and slept together in our bed with no issues. Late last year, the girls got into a nasty fight out of nowhere and we couldn’t pin point what caused it, so we essentially just brushed it off and moved on. It ended up becoming more frequent over the course of a month and we knew we needed professional help for both our girls’ quality of life + our own peace of mind. Enter: Ali with Flash in Denver. I couldn’t be happier that we found Ali - she spent over an hour on the phone with us to initially listen to our situation and discuss our concerns before determining if Flash was the right fit and got our girls in right away for a 3 week board + train. It was an investment - to say the least - and one my husband and I didn’t have time to plan for, but we spend everyday reminiscing on how much Flash changed our lives. The girls are both peacefully hanging on their “place” as I write this and I trust that my husband + I have to tools to manage them as needed throughout all of life’s scenarios. It was worth every penny and I am forever grateful to Ali and the team at Flash for giving our girls the tools they need to coexist happily.

My wife and I love the team at Flash. Our dog was extremely stressed when other people visited our house and could be dog reactive on hikes. We hated seeing our boy so stressed and unhappy--and we were stressed and unhappy too. We had tried numerous trainers, but no one could help him actually be less anxious. The other trainers could provide helpful pointers, but no significant change that enabled him to live a truly happier life. We sent him to Flash for the board and train program, and it was one of the best investments we've ever made. Our dog learned the ability to actually relax--Ali and her team helped him learn that he could trust his humans to handle situations instead of being incredibly anxious constantly. Their training, of both of him and us, has changed his life and our lives for the better. He can now enjoy relaxing on his bed while other people are over. He can go on hikes and enjoy the adventure without being on high alert all the time. He gets to truly enjoy being a dog with the freedom and joy every dog deserves. We are currently considering adding another dog to our family, and the first thing we will do is enroll the puppy in Flash's puppy program. We know that they have the skill and desire to help every dog live a balanced, happy life--and we want every future dog of ours to have the best start in life as possible. The team at Flash has cared for us and our dog so well, and we know they will do the same for any future dog. They have earned, and absolutely deserve, our trust. They truly desire the best for every dog and person, and they pour their heart and skill into making that happen.

Ali and her team at Flash Dog are incredible! My dog did board and train with them in December, I am continuing to work with them on follow up sessions and I feel very comfortable leaving my dog with them when I go out of town! My dog has struggled with anxiety, resource guarding and not understanding my communications with him. I now feel very confident in my ability to communicate with my dog and I have the tools to handle any situation. He also has a much healthier relationship with food than ever before! On a personal note, Ali is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, kind and understanding. She always answers all of my questions and never makes me feel silly for asking. We love flash dog, they have really changed our lives and we cannot wait to keep working with them.

Our dog spent 4 weeks boarding training and the results were amazing. Did a mid-training check-up and then a end of training session where Ali walked through the training, where he was improving and needed more work and how we as owners need to provide structure. The results were amazing and I left feeling like I had a really good grasp on how to maintain my dogs training and improve his overall life (including mine) with trust. Would absolutely recommend.
